Keller Products (Manchester, NH), a manufacturer of extruded plastic profiles, has established a medical development area for prototyping and production orders of materials used in medical devices, equipment, and packaging. It is now running medical materials including bioplastics, conductive materials, and antimicrobial polymers.

Equipment to support this specialization includes a 1½-in. Davis-Standard and a 1¼-in. extruder for smaller profiles or coextrusion. The development line also features a custom-designed water bath and dryers.
