Sealed Air (Duncan, SC), a provider of medical device and pharmaceutical packaging, has acquired the Costa Rican operation of Advanced Thermoforming Enterprise (ATE; Oceanside, CA), a privately owned medical thermoforming company. The business will be integrated into Sealed Air’s medical applications business unit and will give Sealed Air Medical Applications customers with facilities in the region local access to products and services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
