After its August 2011 acquisition of Medisize, a contract manufacturer whose capabilities include drug-delivery, airway management, and medical and diagnostic devices, Phillips Plastics Corp. (Hudson, WI) is changing its name to Phillips-Medisize Corp. In a press release, CEO Matt Jennings said the company will work with customers, regulatory agencies, and suppliers to execute the name change over the coming months. Phillips-Medisize has also secured a new domain site, www.phillipsmedisize.com, though the former sites for Phillips Plastics and Medisize, phillipsplastics.com and www.medisize.com respectively, will continue to remain in operation.
