Olympus Controls (Beaverton, OR), a distributor of industrial automation technologies, is now an authorized distributor for Dunkermotor (Elgin, IL), a maker of medical equipment and laboratory automation. Dunkermotor’s full line of linear and rotary motion control products are available from Olympus Control’s branches in the Portland, OR; San Francisco; and Dallas areas. Olympus Controls also has nine other locations throughout the western United States. The deal came about after Dunkermotor’s parent company acquired the linear motion business of Copley Motion Systems, whose products Olympus Controls had distributed, in August 2011.
