Grant P. Bagley, MD, JD, is a partner in the law firm
of Arnold & Porter (Washington, DC), where his practice focuses on the representation
of drug and device manufacturers for regulatory and reimbursement matters. He
also provides counsel regarding state and federal regulatory compliance, Medicare
and private-plan reimbursement, strategic planning, and legislation. Dr. Bagley
is a former director of the coverage and analysis group at the Health Care Financing
Administration (now CMS). While at HCFA, he directed the clinical and scientific
determination of Medicare coverage policy and the assessment of new technology.

Robin Bostic is director of global reimbursement for
the orthopedic division of Smith & Nephew Inc. (Memphis, TN). Bostic worked
in the insurance industry for eight years before moving into medical manufacturing.
