Joseph
Doyle
is chairman and CEO of 1Health Communications (Venice, CA), and immediate
past president of the Medical Marketing Association (San Francisco), the nation’s
leading trade association of medical marketers.

Doyle has more
than 25 years of experience in medical marketing, sales, and communications.
He was named president of BGMHealth in 1991, and became CEO of the firm in 1996.
In 1998, he was responsible for bringing FMJ into the Omnicom Group of healthcare
agencies. Earlier this year, BGM-FMJ Healthcomm was relaunched as 1Health Communications.

Susan
K. Hempstead
is principal, account services, at Stratagem Healthcare Communications
(San Francisco). After working with several of the West Coast’s leading
healthcare agencies, she founded Stratagem Healthcare Communications with two
partners in 1997. In her role as principal, account services, Hempstead provides
Stratagem clients with the strategic thinking that leads to increased sales
