A programmable xyz stand-alone in-line coating system features a 500 × 500 × 100-mm range of motion. The FlexiCoat MD is suitable for coating a number of medical devices, including sutures, wellplates, blood-collection tubes, orthopedic implants, and small implantable devices. The system can be customized to include z-axis rotation, a camera, a laser pointer, a heat or vacuum plate, dual-nozzle configuration, and several liquid delivery options. It can incorporate any style ultrasonic nozzle to produce spray patterns of 1.8–150 mm across.
