A form-measurement system is available with a controller that has increased the speed and resolution of the machine. The controller allows the MMQ 400-2 Series to measure surface finish characteristics according to ISO, ASME, and JIS standards. The system can sample data with spacing as tight as 0.005 μm. It features solid construction with a reinforced steel base. High-precision mechanical bearings for the rotary table eliminate the need for an air supply, while all motors and electronic components are thermally isolated to enhance stability. The system was designed to measure a variety of workpieces, including injection components and valves.
