Fluoropolymer Tubing Designed for Cryogenic Applications

A line of inert fluoropolymer tubing products that will not turn brittle or crack in cold temperatures has been designed for use in cryogenic applications. The tubing is available in the company’s TexFluor material as well as PTFE, FEP, and PFA, in straight lengths, coiled assemblies, and corrugated or convoluted styles. The tubing is nonleaching and has a low refractive index, enabling visual inspection by operators. It comes in sizes ranging from 0.004 to 4 in. I.D. and can operate in temperatures of –166°–260°C, depending on the material and configuration selected.
