Cretex Companies Inc. (Elk River, MN) has acquired the assets of Meier Tool & Engineering (Anoka, MN), a manufacturer of miniature and microsized stamped components and subassemblies. Meier Tool will provide expertise in product design, prototyping, tool design and building, as well of production of precision metal stampings and value-added assemblies. The acquisition adds capabilities that complement two existing companies in the Cretex portfolio in the markets for precision machining, metal fabrication, and plastic molding.
