Zone-coated Tyvek lidding in rollstock form enables the precise application of heat-seal adhesives within the seal area only. This maximizes the porosity of medical device packaging materials to assist in shortening sterilization cycles and preventing adhesive from coming into contact with the product. The zone-coated rollstock can be sealed to a variety of thermoforming plastics and is compatible with EtO- and radiation-based sterilization methods. The lidding exhibits uniform adhesive transfer.
