Companies Merge to Provide Integrated Automation Services

Two medical device companies—a specialist in catheter and guidewire manufacturing automation and a producer of tissue-cutting tools and hole-drilling and hole-punching technology for catheters—have merged. The new entity supplies integrated automation services for cutting, feeding, slitting, flaring, grinding, skiving, printing, punching, assembling, and drilling medical catheters and guidewires. Among the company’s featured products are an automated medical tube cutter and a high-precision automated machine for cutting, slitting, and flaring tubing. The automated drillers and punchers have been designed for controllability, ease of use, and repeatability.
